Jake Martinez
Relax Pools was built on experience, but more importantly, on a different standard.
Founded by Jake Martinez, a Class A licensed contractor with a background in commercial construction, Relax Pools brings an engineer’s precision and a craftsman’s eye to every project. Jake created the company to offer homeowners a more thoughtful, transparent, and hands-on pool-building experience from start to finish.
Rather than operating as a high-volume builder, Relax Pools intentionally takes on a limited number of projects each year. That approach allows Jake to stay closely involved, maintain clear communication, and ensure every project meets the level of craftsmanship the brand is known for.
Specializing in custom gunite pools, Jake designs each project around the property, the family, and the way the space will be enjoyed for years to come. In Northern Virginia, thoughtful planning matters. Grading, soil conditions, permitting, and overall site design all play a role in creating a pool that feels seamless and performs beautifully over time.
At the core of Relax Pools is a belief that a swimming pool is more than a feature. It is an investment in a home and in a family’s lifestyle. It becomes the place where children learn to swim, where friends gather on summer evenings, and where quiet mornings begin.
